The Allman Brothers Band – “Trouble No More” – Rare Live
The original 6 boys play the Fillmore East on 9/23/1970.
Duane Allman, Dickie Betts, Gregg Allman, Butch Trucks, Berry Oakley, and Jaime. What a breath of fresh air. Back when there were real musicians playing real instruments. Duane’s guitar playing is just unreal!!! What a talent he was. Duane might be the heart and soul of this band, but without Greg, the legend would never continue. He was definitely the quintessential brother.
Lyrics
Don’t care how long you go
I don’t care how long you stay
It’s good kind treatment
Bring you home someday
Someday baby, you ain’t gonna trouble
Poor me, anymore
Yeah, baby
Now you keep on bettin’
That the dice won’t pass
Well I know, and I know
Whoa, oh you’re livin’ too fast
Someday baby, you ain’t gonna trouble
Poor me, anymore
Yeah
I’ll tell everybody
In my neighborhood
You’re a kind little woman
But you don’t do me no good
But someday baby, you ain’t gonna trouble
Poor me, anymore
Yeah, hey
I know you’re leaving
If you call that’s gone
Oh, without my lovin’ yeah
Oh, you can’t stay long
But someday baby, you ain’t gonna trouble
Poor me, anymore
Yeah, yeah
Well goodbye baby
Yeah, well take my hand
I don’t want no woman, no
Who can’t have no man
But someday baby, you ain’t gonna trouble
Poor me, anymore
Trouble no more
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, baby
On Fillmore East September 1970, we can enjoy experiencing the Allman Brothers as a southern blues/rock band with truly nothing to lose and their spendor love for the blues heroes who influenced each member throughout their own respective musical destinies. The slide virtuosity of Duane “Skydog” Allman is a true valuable masterwork treated us to a hearty dose of the blues, as well the beautiful intensity of a young Greeg’s vocals remain an outstanding testament in music history. Overall a very tight band with an unique remarkable sound stamp that cannot ever be duplicated and guess it will last forever in music worldwide as one of the best groups that got their journey on earth.
