Eric Clapton Tour 2026 USA: Full Fall Schedule and Ticket Guide
Fans of guitar music have a reason to mark their calendars as the Eric Clapton Tour 2026 USA has been officially announced. The legendary musician is returning to the road for a limited series of performances this fall, bringing his blues and rock sound to several major cities. This six-show outing is scheduled for September 2026, focusing on key markets within the American Midwest. Known for his technical skill and long-standing presence in the industry, the guitarist continues to perform for large audiences across the globe.

The series of concerts begins on September 6 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. From there, the group travels to Ohio for a performance at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati on September 8. The midpoint of the trip finds the band in Chicago, Illinois, for a show at the United Center on September 11. Following the Chicago date, the crew moves to the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on September 13. The final stretch includes a stop at the Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul, Minnesota, on September 15, before concluding the journey at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 17.
Joining the lineup as a special guest for all six dates is Jimmie Vaughan. Vaughan is a respected figure in the blues community, and his presence adds a specific historical weight to the bill. The primary band for the Eric Clapton Tour 2026 USA features a group of seasoned professionals who have worked with the headliner for many years. Doyle Bramhall II serves as the second guitarist, while Sonny Emory handles the drums. The keyboard section is led by Chris Stainton, with Tim Carmon playing the Hammond B3 organ. Nathan East remains the steady hand on bass, and the vocal section is rounded out by Katie Kissoon and Sharon White.
This tour announcement coincides with the arrival of a remastered version of the 1989 album, Journeyman. Released through Bushbranch and Surfdog Records, the Journeyman: Deluxe Edition is currently available in digital formats, as well as on CD and vinyl LP. This expanded version includes four bonus tracks that were not on the original release. One of these additions is the track “Higher Power,” which was penned by Jerry Williams. A new music video for “Higher Power” was also produced to coincide with the arrival of this archival release. Regarding his identity as a musician, the guitarist stated, “Journeyman… It’s what I want to be known as; I like to think I’m a craftsman. I think I’m always working on mastering my craft.”
