Carla Venita Thomas (born on December 21, 1942) is an American blues artist, singer, who is often referred to as the Queen of Memphis Soul. Thomas is the daughter of Rufus Thomas. She is such a fabulous lady! Voice of an angel! Could never get tired of hearing her songs. Carla Thomas doesn’t get near enough recognition. She is one of the most underrated female blues artists.
