Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jeff Healey – Look At Little Sister

Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jeff Healey – Look At Little Sister – Live at CBC with Double Trouble in 1987.

Stevie Ray was in Toronto for a concert, and on his downtime happened to see Jeff playing in a club. He was so impressed that he invited him to sit in on this show, where he was supposed to be plugging his latest CD. Jeff showed up in street clothes, didn’t have a card apparently. the reactions you see from SRV when Jeff lights it up ain’t faked, that’s real. SRV did Jeff a big favor and essentially got him launched. The fact that this is one of the only clips of these legends together, that they never got the chance to collaborate again makes you think of what they really could have done had they had enough time.

There are no words to describe what a fantastic, epic performance this is! What an awesome treat to watch two great blues guitarists perform together. Miss them deeply.

Lyrics:
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey mama look at little sis
Out in the backyard….playin’ like this
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey….look at little sister
Hey hey hey hey….look at little sister

What about the neighbors….what they gonna say
Stop little sister….gettin’ carried away
Hey hey hey….look at little sister
Hey hey hey hey….look at little sister

Shakin’ like a tree….rollin’ like a log
Shakin’ and a rollin’ now….that ain’t all
Hey hey hey….look at little sister
Hey hey hey hey….look at little sister

Shakin’ like a tree….rollin’ like a log
Shakin’ and a rollin’ now….that ain’t all
Hey hey hey….look at little sister
Hey hey hey hey….look at little sister

What about the neighbors….what they gonna say
Stop little sister….gettin’ carried away
Hey hey hey….look at little sister
Hey hey hey hey….look at little sister
