The Allman Brothers Band Live – One Way Out – At Fillmore East

The Allman Brothers Band have been playing “One Way Out” in concert from at least February 1971. A live recording was included on their 1972 album Eat a Peach. This was indeed recorded at the Fillmore East, but unlike the March 1971 live material used on the rest of Eat a Peach and At Fillmore East, “One Way Out” was recorded at the venue’s final show on June 27, 1971.

There is no “One Way Out” footage at the Fillmore East. So I created a video of this legendary performance from different concerts.

Back when musicians actually had TALENT! Best live album ever! Two drummers. Two badass lead guitarists. One 60 year old voice coming out of a 23 year old body.

This is real music, by the real talented musicians. No computer fluff, no voice tune crap! Just plain music and rock and roll. Never gets old.

Lyrics:
Ain’t but one way out, baby, Lord I just can’t go out that door
Ain’t but one way out, baby and Lord I just can’t go out that door
‘Cause there’s a man down there might be your man, I don’t know

Lord you got me trapped woman up on the second floor;
If I get by this time I won’t be trapped no more
So raise your window, baby and I can ease out soft and slow
And lord, your neighbors, no they won’t be
Talking that stuff that they don’t know

Lord, I’m foolish to be here in the first place
I know some man gonna walk in and take my place
Ain’t no way in the world I’m going out that front door
‘Cause there’s a man down there might be your man, I don’t know
‘Cause there’s a man down there might be your man, I don’t know
‘Cause there’s a man down there,

Lord, it just might happen to be your man
Lord, it just a might be your man
Mmm-mm-mmm-mm…
Lord, it just a might be your man
Oh baby, Lord, I just don’t know…
