Lyrics:
Can you hear me calling
Out your name?
You know that I’m falling
And I don’t know what to say
I’ll speak a little louder
I’ll even shout
You know that I’m proud
And I can’t get the words out
Oh, I
I want to be with you everywhere
Oh, I
I want to be with you everywhere
(Wanna be with you everywhere)
Something’s happening
Happening to me
My friends say I’m acting peculiarly
Come on, baby
We better make a start
You better make it soon
Before you break my heart
Oh, I
I want to be with you everywhere
Oh, I
I want to be with you everywhere
(Wanna be with you everywhere)
Can you hear me calling
Out your name?
You know that I’m falling
And I don’t know what to say
Come along, baby
We better make a start
You better make it soon
Before you break my heart
Oh, I
I want to be with you everywhere
Oh, I
I want to be with you everywhere
Oh, I
I want to be with you everywhere
Oh, I
I want to be with you everywhere
(Wanna be with you everywhere)

It took years of listening and loving Fleetwood Mac’s music in the 70s before I realized that Christine McVie not only wrote many of the songs, but sang them as well. I was pretty much in love with Stevie, and thought she was behind and singing all of the songs. When you are in love you see what you want. After learning of Christine’s huge input to the band’s output of the music I loved to listen to, I paid much more attention to, and learned much more of Christine’s history and extreme talent. In the following years, I developed an awe of the lady. She always seemed to be the least demanding and yet provided the band with perhaps more ability, value, and unmatched talent, than any of the other members, all who were overloaded with talent all their own. The ability of Christine to write songs expressing how wonderful falling and being in love was, and how terrible the pain was within when losing it, or when it was lost, captured feelings everyone knew and had experienced, feeling’s everyone has felt within their heart. Christine’s ability to write these feelings into her songs, brought an intimate part of life, in a one on one way as if she had wrote the song for you personally. This to me, was the extremely personal spin, the magical component she applied to her work/love that was signature Christine McVie. Thank God for giving us the ability to capture and record her creations, so that they will live on forever. We should all be extremely thankful that we are all so blessed to experience the unmatched beauty and eloquence she applied within
her works. Christine was an extremely talented human. She is, along with the music she created, a one of a kind perfection, that will never be duplicated.
