Ry Cooder – Feelin’ Bad Blues – Crossroads

Feelin’ Bad Blues – Crossroads – From the film Crossroads, 1986.

After guitar battle is this scene the best part of the movie in our opinion. Especially Willie´s speech, “The blues ain’t nothin’ but a good man feelin’ bad, thinkin’ ’bout the woman he once was with.” Honestly have no words to describe how beautiful and moving this piece of music is!

The music heard hear is only about half of the complete song. Of course, it was written and recorded by the great Ry Cooder, and you can hear the complete song on the movie soundtrack below!

Ry Cooder – Feelin’ Bad Blues

Each and every note so carefully placed between sorrow and beauty. Such an amazing tribute to the expressiveness of the blues.

It’s so incredibly moving that it’s impossible to go unaffected after listening to it in full.
